ROLE: BACKEND DEVELOPER | DESIGNATION: SDE-2

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Application owners to understand business requirements and design and develop solutions
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software and new user-facing features in products.
• Manage individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Build scalable, fast and modular web applications using AWS services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. (Master's degree a plus)
• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, with strong proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservice architecture principles.
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and document RESTful APIs using Java and Python technologies.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases, including querying and scripting.
• Comfort and experience developing on AWS cloud platforms utilizing relevant services.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services, Data-Lake, Glue / Python/ PySpark/ API/
• Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid).
• Strong understanding of fundamental computer science concepts like algorithms and data structures.
• Proficiency in Git version control and experience with DevOps practices.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries (e.g., Angular).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• AWS Developer certification.
