The Opportunity: Backend Development Intern

Are you a recent university graduate with a passion for software development and a strong foundation in backend technologies? Do you thrive on solving complex problems and building robust, scalable applications?

Cubix is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Backend Development Interns to join our development team. This is a fantastic opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to real-world projects.

What You Will Do

As a Backend Development Intern, you will be involved in:

• Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and high-performance backend systems.
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code in relevant programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, etc.).
• Collaborating with senior developers and cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, product) to define and implement new features.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing performance of existing applications.
• Learning and applying best practices in software development, including version control (Git), testing, and deployment.
• Participating in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.

What We're Looking For (Required Skills)

• Fresh Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and data structures.
• Familiarity with at least one backend programming language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP).
• Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Basic knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with Git or another version control system.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong eagerness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
