Backend Engineer (Golang)

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Design and develop robust server-side applications.
• Deploy and maintain operations of backend applications on cloud servers/services
• Work closely with other Software Engineers to co-design, implement, and document APIs for backend functions based on requirements
• Deploy and operationalize backend applications for various internal and external stakeholders
• Continuously learn and mentor others on engineering techniques and technologies

Qualifications and Key Competencies:

• You have a 4-year bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields
• You have 3-7 years of experience in back-end engineering — experience with AI products is a plus.
• You have at least 1 year of experience owning and maintaining entire back-end verticals / applications, from ideation, development, deployment, to operational support
• You have a strong system engineering fundamentals (data, compute, networks), and deep programming expertise on at least one language. (We're loving Golang!)
• You engage with requirements instead of just taking them, understanding and challenge them to build better systems
• You are excited to contribute to healthcare!
