The Role

Were looking for an accomplished Senior Backend/Fullstack Engineer to join our team. In this role, youll lead the development of scalable applications using Node.js, Nest.js, and JavaScript, bringing at least 4+ years of software engineering experience. The ideal candidate takes ownership, drives accountability, and communicates effectively while working closely with teammates. If you have a proven track record of designing and deploying REST APIs and enjoy collaborating with frontend engineers to deliver seamless integrations, wed love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage your extensive experience to architect, design, and implement robust backend solutions for consumer applications.
• Work with Node.js, Nest.js, and Postgres to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Take full ownership of backend development projects, ensuring code quality, security, and adherence to best practices.
• Demonstrate a proactive and accountable approach to solving challenges and delivering high-quality solutions.
• Proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement within the backend architecture.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers to integrate backend services seamlessly into the overall application.
• Design, build, and deploy RESTful APIs that meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure APIs are well-documented, scalable, and adhere to industry standards.
• Foster a collaborative team environment by actively participating in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven expertise in building consumer applications with Node.js, Nest.js, and Postgres.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture, and best practices.
