Backhoe Loader Operator (Caterpillar)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Backhoe Loader Operator with proven expertise in operating Caterpillar backhoe loaders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient machine operation to support excavation, trenching, loading, and general construction activities on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Caterpillar backhoe loaders safely and efficiently for excavation, trenching, backfilling, loading, and grading
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance
• Follow site safety rules, traffic management plans, and operating procedures
• Read and understand site plans, grade stakes, and instructions from supervisors
• Coordinate with site supervisors, spotters, and other equipment operators
• Report equipment defects, damages, or safety concerns immediately
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Support general construction activities as required

Requirements

• Proven experience operating Caterpillar backhoe loaders
• Valid operator license or certification (as per local regulations)
• Driving License is required
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Physically fit and able to work extended hours if required
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a backhoe loader operator
• Experience on infrastructure, roadworks, or utility projects
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
