Backup Engineer - L3

We are looking for Backup Engineer L3 position with our Client at Hyderabad and Belapur,Navi Mumbai .

Roles & Responsibility :

• Backup Server configuration and its maintenance.
• Working with SME / Support team to streamline the Backup Servers and Clients.
• Hot-fix installation, applying patches and updates on backup servers.
• Providing Role based access control for users for self- administration.
• Managing Backup Data replication on DC – DR and ensuring their sync.
• Checking backup failures and involving Global support team if required.
• Day-to-day management of the Backup Solution at SBI premises.
• Bi-weekly Review of Backup infrastructure and provide report if there is scope of fine tuning. If fine tuning required, the same needs to complete within 2 weeks.
• Assist application teams for performing backup configuration from database side.
• OEM Resource Should have knowledge of MySQL, MSSQL and Oracle Database.
• OEM Resource Should be able to provide root cause (RCA) of any Database Backup failure by analyzing the database logs.
• OEM Resource should be responsible for installing backup agent on database servers and complete backup process.
• OEM Resource should be responsible for troubleshooting any backup issue from database side as well as Commvault side.
• OEM should prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for day 2 operations as well as mentor L1 resources in performing their day-2-day tasks.
• Create and manage quality documentation as advised by Bank team
• Participate in various audits and other security reviews.
• Design, Implement and Manage Airgap backup setups.

Qualification Graduate from AICTE Affiliated / Approved institute

Job Location : Hyderabad/ CBD Belapur

TOTAL Experience: 8-year experience, minimum 6 years with Commvault Software. Hands-on skills on Commvault Backup Software, Database (MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle etc.) and their Security.

Mandatory Certification : Commvault Certified Professional.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
