Backup Switcher Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized person to join our Shipping and Receiving team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Duties include verifying and recording incoming and outgoing shipments, inspecting packages for accuracy and damage, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to lift and move packages as needed. Experience in logistics or warehouse operations operating a forklift is not required but is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments.
• Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders.
• Maintain inventory records and complete paperwork accurately.
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure efficient logistics.
• Follow safety and compliance standards in all shipping and receiving activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent problem-solving ability Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-Motivated team player
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with inventory systems.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50lbs
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role preferred.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday with occasional overtime and the ability to be flexible with the needs of the business.
• Forklift certification a plus
