Baggage Handler- Ohare airport (ORD)

We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Ramp Agents to join our team. In this role, you will support airport ground operations by handling aircraft servicing, baggage movement, and equipment operation. This position requires strict adherence to safety and security procedures and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and security regulations, including airline and airport requirements
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
• Load, unload, and transport passenger baggage using carts, dollies, and conveyor systems
• Operate ground service equipment such as tow tractors, belt loaders, and baggage tugs
• Provide aircraft services including water and lavatory servicing
• Follow federal, state, airport, and company policies and procedures
• Report irregularities and maintain strong communication with team members and supervisors
• Build positive relationships with customers and airport authorities
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and around aircraft noise
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience or knowledge of Ground Service Equipment (preferred)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to obtain required airport security clearances and credentials
• Valid driver’s license required
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs regularly
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required

Schedule

• Full-time availability required
• Multiple shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available
