We are seeking a Temporary Baker who is passionate about the art of baking and takes pride in their craft.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare, bake, and finish a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately to maintain product consistency.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all products meet the bakery's standards for taste, texture, and presentation.
• Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate needs to management.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Adhere to daily production schedules and timelines to ensure product availability.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth daily operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a baker in a professional kitchen environment, with a passion for artisan baking.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certification.
• Ability to work night shifts, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed, including lone working.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 kg.
