Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all bakery operations, including production, quality control, and team management.
- Develop seasonal menus, recipes, and specialty products to drive revenue and brand differentiation.
- Manage food costs, labor, and inventory to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
- Ensure adherence to HACCP, food safety, and local regulations.
- Mentor junior bakers and maintain consistent standards across all products.
Requirements:
- 8+ years in pastry/bakery operations, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in artisanal techniques (laminating, sourdough, decorative pastry).
- Proven ability to scale production while maintaining excellence.
- Strong business acumen (P&L, vendor negotiations, waste reduction).Food safety certification (mandatory or can obtain one).
