Responsible for preparing, baking, and finishing breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods. They combine culinary skills with creativity, ensuring products are both delicious and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation & Baking
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
  • Knead, shape, and bake bread, rolls, pastries, and cakes.
  • Decorate and finish baked goods with icing, glazes, or toppings.
  • Quality Control
  • Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures for optimal results.
  • Test new recipes and adjust techniques as needed.
  • Inventory & Supplies
  • Order and maintain stock of flour, sugar, yeast, and other ingredients.
  • Track usage and minimize waste.
  • Equipment Handling
  • Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, and other baking equipment.
  • Clean and maintain tools and workstations.
  • Customer Service (in retail bakeries)
  • Assist customers with orders and special requests.
  • Provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction.

Pay: From Rs70,000.00 per month
