Baker

Duties:
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, brownies and cookies, etc.

- Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistent quality and quantity of baked goods. Register all batches on production forms. Record oven temperatures before production starts daily

- Simple decorating tasks such as glazing, cutting, portioning, packaging

- Operate and maintain baking equipment, such as mixers, ovens, and depositors.

- Monitor baking process to ensure proper temperature and cooking time

- Basic decorate and finish baked goods with icing, glazes, and toppings

- Maintain a clean and organized work area and kitchen in general.

- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines

Skills:
- Proficient in various cooking techniques used in baking
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to use knives and other tools safely and effectively
- Experience in large-scale food production is a plus
- Culinary training or certification is preferred but not required
