Baker/Barista

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a waffle baker and coffee barista. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and presentation of our waffles and espresso drinks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a focus on both customer service and proficiency in a fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of waffles according to established recipes.
• Decorate waffles with creativity and attention to detail.
• Focus on sanitary hygiene and protocols to meet food safety standards.
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including dough making
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Participate in catering events as required, showcasing culinary skills in various settings.

Experience

• Previous experience in food production and/or being a barista is preferred.
• Strong skills in baking and food handling are essential.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
• Experience in customer service within a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous.
• Proficiency with espresso equipment is a major plus!
