Duties

• Prepare a variety of baked goods
• Assist in food production and food preparation tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Package baked items and catering orders carefully to maintain freshness and presentation standards.
• Support catering events by setting up, serving, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the event.
• Maintain strict food safety and handling protocols in accordance with health regulations.
• Use knife skills and culinary techniques to assist in kitchen operations, supporting overall food industry standards.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and stocked with necessary ingredients and supplies for efficient food production.

Experience

• Previous experience in baking, pastry arts, or culinary roles within a bakery, restaurant, or catering environment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in cake decorating, food handling, and food preparation are essential.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, baking tools, and safety procedures in a food industry setting.
• Customer service experience that highlights communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of catering operations and restaurant experience will be considered an asset.
