Bakery Assistant and Packager

Cult Crackers makes artisan crackers that are sold in 500+ stores and our online store. We’re a small manufacturing business and bake at the Berkeley Kitchens in West Berkeley.

We’re looking for a dependable production person to package crackers and box orders. You’ll be an integral part of our small team and learn the ins & outs of how a small food business is run.

Your responsibilities will include

• Breaking crackers
• Accurately weighing, filling and sealing cracker bags
• Cleaning packaging area
• Washing sheet pans
• Reviewing invoices and accurately packaging orders
• Perform other related duties, as necessary

The details

• Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency, efficiently and cleanly
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Kitchen/production experience preferred. Training provided.

Requirements

• Able to stand for long periods and strong enough to lift, move and carry 50 lbs
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Schedule: Monday-Friday. Part time position 6-8 hours per day
