Bakery Assistant/Cashier

**Overview:**

Join our team as a Bakery Assistant and become an integral part of our bustling bakery operation. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about baking and eager to contribute to the creation of delicious baked goods.

**Duties:**

- Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods such as cakes, cookies, buttercreams, fillings and cupcakes

- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes

- Operate baking equipment including ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters

- Decorate and package finished products

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area

- Follow food safety standards and guidelines

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience working in a bakery or food preparation environment is preferred

- Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients

- Ability to follow recipes accurately

- Strong attention to detail

- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy trays or bags of flour

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
