    • Attentiveness to detail to ensure that food items are prepared and packaged correctly.
    • Computer skills to operate pricing systems and process customer payments.
    • Knowledge of food service health and safety standards
    • Knowledge in making espresso drinks.
    • Able to work early (4 am) mornings and weekends as needed.
    • Able to lift 40/lbs.
    • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees and teas

    Preparing and serving food items such as soups, sandwiches and pastries Operating coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders and brewers

    Restocking supplies, such as cups, lids, coffee beans, syrups and pastries Making drinks according to company recipes and standard

    Keeping the work environment and cafe seating area clean, sanitary and organized

    Cleaning countertops and behind the counter, including the coffee grinders, decanters or milk frothers

    Working the point-of-sale (POS) system to complete transactions

    Assisting with opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning and inventory tasks
