Bakery Operation Associate

Seeking a Baking Operations Associate to handle Customer Service in an online commercial bakery setting. Candidate must be familiar with computer software, Shopify and other related technology. The successful candidate will be able to assist in some food preparation tasks in addition to packing, loading and shipping product. Any food preparation experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming order flow from several online selling platforms
• Assist in tasks associated with preparation of these items
• Operate safely in a work environment in regards to food safety and employee safety
• Take instruction from management as needed
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling
• Organize and maintain the warehouse, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met

Successful candidates will:

· Be experienced, skilled and passionate about maintaining an efficient work environment

· Be able to work well with others under pressure

· Understand and implement kitchen sanitation, safety and cleaning protocols

· Be reliable and consistently show up on time, ready to work

Requirements:

· Able to lift 50 pounds

· Able to stand for long periods of time

· Availability between 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

Additional qualifications we would like to see:

· Food preparation experience

· Delivery driver experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
