JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Part-Time Ballet Instructor & Program Coordinator to lead dynamic ballet classes for various skill levels while managing the day-to-day operations of our ballet program. Responsibilities include curriculum development, class scheduling, student progress monitoring, instructor oversight, and parent communication. The ideal candidate has a solid classical ballet background, strong organizational and leadership skills, and a passion for fostering a positive, professional environment for students.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program Coordination & Leadership: Manage all aspects of the ballet program, including scheduling, venue coordination, staffing, and smooth execution of classes.
- Curriculum Design: Create and implement seasonal ballet programs suited to different levels, focusing on technique, artistic growth, and performance readiness.
- Student Assessment: Track student development using clear progression criteria, provide constructive feedback to dancers and parents, and monitor growth on a termly basis.
- Class Instruction: Conduct engaging, technically accurate classes for recreational, intermediate, and advanced students, promoting an inclusive and encouraging studio culture.
- Attendance & Documentation: Maintain accurate attendance records, progress reports, and submit regular program updates to the Academy Manager.
- Instructor Oversight: Ensure coordinated teamwork and appropriate coverage across all classes.
- Safety & Child Protection: Follow all safeguarding policies, provide basic first aid if needed, and maintain a secure and organized training environment.
- Parent & Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for parents regarding student progress, events, and scheduling.
- Event & Competition Support: Assist in organizing in-house performances and prepare students for external competitions, offering full support and coordination.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with other Infinite departments, such as camps and school programs, to enhance ballet offerings in wider educational contexts.
- Professionalism & Punctuality: Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to sessions and maintain the highest professional standards at all times.
- Financial Contribution: Help meet revenue goals by improving client retention, class occupancy, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: Report operational updates to the Operations Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Extensive training in classical ballet, modern stage dance, contemporary, African, or Asian dance, or equivalent coaching credentials.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching/coaching experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Safeguarding and first aid certification.
- Police clearance.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Strong leadership, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and parent engagement skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office and reporting tools.
- Ability to deliver structured, inspiring dance sessions.

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION:
- KPIs will be established and measured every term.
- Management will conduct venue checks and provide feedback.
Venue checks will be performed by the management team, with feedback provided.

- Commitment to high-quality coaching and client service is required.
- Working Hours: 2–3 hours/day, 6 days/week, between 2:00–7:30 PM
