Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive ballet and lyrical dance curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels
• Lead engaging dance classes that emphasize technique, artistry, and musicality, ensuring a fun and motivating atmosphere
• Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for all students
• Provide personalized feedback and tutoring to help students improve their dancing skills and achieve their goals
• Prepare students for performances, competitions, or showcases by guiding rehearsals and choreography sessions
• Incorporate elements of theater, storytelling, and emotional expression into dance instruction to enhance performance quality
• Maintain detailed lesson plans, progress records, and assessments to track student development

Requirements

• Proven experience in teaching ballet and lyrical dance styles with classroom management skills
• Strong background in choreography, lesson planning, and curriculum development for diverse age groups
• Knowledge of childhood development, early childhood education, preschool experience, and special education practices is preferred
• Ability to work effectively with children, teens, or adult learners in both group settings and one-on-one tutoring sessions
• Familiarity with theater arts, performance techniques, and stage presence training
• Additional skills such as photography or sewing are a plus for creating promotional materials or costumes
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate students of varying skill levels while managing classroom behavior effectively
