Band Saw Operator- 1st and Weekend Shifts

Position Overview

Apex Geotech is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bandsaw Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating industrial cutting equipment, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate bandsaw machinery to cut materials according to specifications
• Measure, mark, and inspect materials to ensure accuracy
• Read and interpret production work orders and blueprints
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
• Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with general production tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience with bandsaw operation or similar machinery preferred
• Ability to read measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, micrometers)
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Reliable transportation and solid attendance
• Commitment to workplace safety

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
