Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Phoenix, AZ, for a Band Teacher serving students in grades 6-8. The Band Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging music and band lessons, teaching instrumental techniques, conducting rehearsals, and preparing students for performances. The role involves fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the growth and development of each student, while collaborating with colleagues and parents to enhance the educational experience.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Teaching and Training, with the ability to instruct students effectively in instrumental performance and music theory.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education to create dynamic and standards-aligned curricula that inspire student learning.
• Strong Communication skills, including the ability to connect with students, colleagues, and parents effectively.
• Relevant experience or certification in music education or instrumental instruction.
• Passion for fostering creativity and a love of music in students.
• Arizona teaching certification in music (or the ability to obtain it) is highly preferred.
