Bank Teller / Customer Service

Preferred Bank is looking for a friendly, motivated individual to fill our full-time teller /customer service position at our Lee's Summit, MO location. Job duties include doing all types of teller transactions for customers including deposits, withdrawals, accepting loan payments, selling cashier's checks and money orders, etc. You may also be required to help out with opening new accounts as needed. Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service or retail sales, preferably within a banking or financial environment
• Strong basic math skills including cash handling, cashiering, debits & credits, and retail math proficiency
• Knowledge of financial sales techniques, upselling strategies, and relationship management principles
• Familiarity with financial software systems and 10 key typing skills for efficient transaction processing
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain banking products clearly and confidently
• Ability to detect potential fraud or suspicious activity while adhering to security protocols
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in banking or finance is a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
