Bank Teller (Part-Time)

Fortress Bank continues to offer Teller opportunities as we grow within our communities and as our team members move up into other roles. At the Bank, a Teller is an entry-level position in our retail banking department. In this role, you will be the face of our bank, building relationships with our valued customers and ensuring they have a positive banking experience each time they visit.

Looking at the skills and experience required for success in this role – and in others at the Bank in the future – this is not a “first job” sort of position. You’ll need to bring some work experience and solid skills with you to be successful.

If you have at least 1 year of experience offering consistently positive customer service in a professional work environment and working accurately with cash and numbers – including without a POS – this may be an opportunity for you.

This will be a part-time position in our Davenport, IA facility.

Schedule will include Saturday mornings and 20 to 25 hours per week.

What you’ll do:

• Greet customers with a warm and welcoming spirit, creating a positive and comfortable atmosphere.
• Actively listen to customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or referrals.
• Provide friendly, efficient, and accurate transaction processing, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, loan payments, etc.
• Proactively address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns with empathy and understanding.
• Educate customers on available bank products and services, highlighting their benefits and value.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and adhere to all bank policies and procedures.
