Banking Project Manager – Oracle FLEXCUBE (Islamic Banking)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle implementation of Oracle FLEXCUBE Islamic Banking modules, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Manage project scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation across multiple stakeholders
- Responsible to lead the Core Production Implementation within the SLA, schedule, budget and scope parameters, including testing & overseeing the quality and compliance controls throughout the project life cycle
- Collaborate with business teams to gather and document Islamic banking requirements (Murabaha, Ijarah, Mudarabah, etc.)
- Ensure system configurations comply with Shariah principles and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with technical teams for system integration, customization, and data migration
- Manage Integration/Design documentation describing deliverables to meet requirements
- Manage Implementation of customized FLEXCUBE solutions at Bank sites, support PWT & Training sessions, integration/Performance/Security Testing, UAT, Business Simulation and Production Rollout
- Ensure smooth Production cut over and Verify production transfer documentation are in place
- Responsible for achieving agreed SLAs
- Oversee SIT, UAT, and production rollout activities ensuring minimal disruption
- Manage vendor relationships, particularly with Oracle and third-party partners
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders

Drive process improvements and best practices in Islamic banking technology implementations
- 6+ years of experience in banking or financial services
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, IT, Business Administration, or related field
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification (preferred)
- Proven track record in Islamic banking system implementations or transformations
- Proven expertise in FLEXCUBE Islamic Banking module
- Deep understanding of Islamic finance products and Shariah compliance requirements
- Experience in banking digital transformation and core banking upgrades
- Strong project management skills (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
