A Banking Relationship Officer (BRO) is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to promote banking products and services. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, managing existing client portfolios, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while meeting sales and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with individual and corporate clients.
- Identify customer financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products such as loans, credit cards, accounts, and investment services.
- Acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and business development activities.
- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of customers.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for banking products.
- Provide professional financial advice to customers based on their requirements.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and risk guidelines.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as credit, operations, and risk to facilitate client services.
