Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to all food safety and food handling standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their event experience.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies efficiently, and maintain cleanliness of the bar area in compliance with health regulations.
• Use POS systems such as Jonas POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage tabs swiftly.
• Collaborate with catering staff and event coordinators to ensure timely beverage service during banquets, weddings, corporate events, and nightclub functions.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills by balancing multiple orders while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Follow all alcohol serving laws and responsible beverage service practices to promote guest safety at all times.

Experience

• Previous banquet or fine dining bartending experience is highly preferred, with a solid understanding of food safety and food handling protocols.
• Experience working in nightclubs or large event settings is a plus, demonstrating the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Jonas POS enhances efficiency in order processing and cash handling.
• Strong customer service skills complemented by excellent communication abilities to connect with diverse guests.
• Knowledge of basic math for accurate cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and hospitality principles for creating welcoming atmospheres.
• Experience in catering or food service industries provides a foundation for understanding event flow and guest expectations.
