Banquet Bartender

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and polished Banquet Bartender to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will provide exceptional beverage service to banquet and event guests, ensuring every interaction reflects our high service standards. You will prepare, mix, and serve beverages in accordance with company guidelines, event specifications, and all applicable state and local laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Beverage Service — Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages promptly, courteously, and accurately.
• Mix Cocktails to Standard — Prepare drinks following established recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain Bar Setup — Ensure bar areas are fully stocked, clean, and organized before, during, and after events.
• Comply With Laws & Policies — Follow all CA ABC regulations, RBS requirements, and company alcohol service policies.
• Deliver Guest-Focused Service — Engage with guests professionally and warmly to enhance their event experience.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years bartending experience in an upscale restaurant, hotel, or high-volume event environment
• CA RBS Certification (Responsible Beverage Service)
• Certificate of Graduation from an Accredited Bartending School
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, beer, and premium spirits
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in banquet or catering settings
• Knowledge of event service flow and large-scale bar operations
