Banquet Bartender (Part-Time)

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Part-time with availability for evening and weekend shifts.
• Knowledge of common drink recipes and bartending techniques. 1-year experience preferred.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Approach guest encounters in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Take an active role in understanding and anticipating guest needs to provide authentic and personalized service.
• Ensure a timely response to guest requests and address concerns beyond satisfaction.
• Set up bar for service and prepare and serve drinks following established recipes, procedures, and proper food handling and serving techniques. Follow all responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Record consumption and processes payments in compliance with established cash and credit card policy.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding area. Return equipment and supplies to proper areas at end of shift.
• Ensure all liquor is properly secured before, during and after shift.
• Complete assigned side-work and related cleaning duties before, during and after shift.
• Attend department pre-function meeting for familiarity with event details.
• Report to work when scheduled and in proper uniform.Maintain a consistent professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests, vendors and associates.
• Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency procedures.
• Any other tasks / duties as requested by management.
