Banquet Server

Join us as a Banquet Server at the Blue Gate Restaurant, a themed destination restaurant in Shipshewana, Indiana. In this role, you’ll serve groups at events and gatherings, helping deliver excellent food and warm hospitality in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Banquet serving is a part-time, year-round position with flexible scheduling and strong earning potential.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up banquet rooms and event service areas
• Plate and serve food to large groups efficiently and accurately
• Deliver hot dishes promptly and professionally
• Assist with event breakdown and cleanup
• Complete side work and support tasks as needed
• Work closely with a team to ensure smooth service during events

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working at events, banquets, or large group service is preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Guest service mindset with a positive, high-energy attitude
• Ability to work well under pressure

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be available to work: days, nights, weekends (including Fridays & Saturdays), and holidays
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods, bend, reach, stoop, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must follow a themed dress code:

o Women: Amish-style dress with apron

o Men: Black pants and button-down shirt

o Tattoos must be covered

• Must actively practice teamwork and professionalism
