Banquet Server & Event Set Up (Houseman & Server)

The Santaluz Club is a private country club located near Rancho Santa Fe and our Culinary team is currently looking for a Banquet Bartender with experience with event-set-up.

The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing excellent service to members and guests during private events at the country club. This includes setting up banquet rooms and banquet bars, making and serving drinks with speed and accuracy, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The Banquet Bartender must be knowledgeable about wine, beer and cocktail offerings and must be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet bars according to event specifications, including arranging tables and chairs, setting linens, and ensuring proper table settings.
• Greet guests & provide excellent customer service throughout the event
• Take beverage orders and serve guests in a timely & professional manner.
• Ensure that all beverages are delivered to guests accurately & efficiently.
• Respond to guest requests & concerns in a courteous & helpful manner.
• Clear tables & clean up bars after events. This includes accurately counting in liquor and properly breaking down the bar and replacing all tools and mixers to their proper place.
• Follow all health & safety guidelines, including food handling & responsible beverage service and sanitation practices.
• Assist with other duties as needed, such as stocking & cleaning banquet service areas.

Pay rate details: $25 - $32 hourly, (this is an average estimation based on the hourly rate plus service distribution charges)
