Banquet Server - On Call

Overview
We are seeking a flexible and professional On Call Banquet Server to join our hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service during various events, including weddings, conferences, and corporate functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements during banquet events
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously according to established standards
• Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness throughout the event
• Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet areas before and after events
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, ensuring excellent guest relations
• Bussing tables as needed to facilitate smooth service flow
• Follow food safety and handling procedures diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Support catering staff with food preparation and presentation when required
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Requirements

• Prior experience in the food industry, hospitality, or catering is preferred, including banquet or restaurant experience
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper serving techniques
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitude
• Ability to work flexible hours on an on-call basis, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates as necessary
• A professional appearance and strong work ethic are essential
