Position Summary

As a Team Member of the Food and Beverage team, the Banquet Server is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the best interest of the business. The Banquet Server is responsible for providing Exceptional Guest Service during banquets, events, and special occasions, ensuring all Guests experience high-quality food service in an upscale, welcoming atmosphere.


Position Functions

Essential Functions
  • Provide exceptional Guest service while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Assist with setting up banquet spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and decorations according to event specifications.
  • Engage with Guests to ensure a positive experience, respond to and accommodate requests promptly, and communicate with the Banquet Manager about Guests' concerns.
  • Efficiently serve plated meals, buffet items, hors d'oeuvres, and beverages to Guests in a timely and courteous manner, maintaining professionalism and attentiveness throughout the event.
  • Understand the variety of drinks served at events, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, their proper serving techniques, and the ability to recommend pairings with meals or occasions.
  • Assist with the cleanup and breakdown of the banquet area after events, including removing table settings, packing decorations, and properly storing equipment.
  • Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and Banquet Manager to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • 1+ years’ experience as a banquet server, waiter/waitress, or similar role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years’ experience in a high-volume hospitality or fine dining atmosphere.
