This is an on call position with starting pay at $10 an hour along with a share of the banquet service charge.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their event experience
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Set up banquet tables with linens, glassware, silverware, and centerpieces to create inviting dining environments
• Clear tables efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization for the next service or course
• Assist with food service by bussing tables, refilling drinks, and ensuring timely delivery of orders
• Support catering operations by helping with food preparation, setup, and breakdown of event spaces
• Maintain food safety standards by handling food properly and adhering to health regulations at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
• Strong guest relations skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and proper serving techniques
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with food preparation, bartending skills including cocktail mixing, and general food service operations
• Familiarity with restaurant or hotel service standards is advantageous
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
