THE JOB:

As a Banquet Utility Porter at The Bellagio, you will be responsible for setting, striking, maintaining and cleaning any meeting and event spaces. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE: $22.0283 Hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Stock and maintain back-of-house (BOH) storage areas, hallways and pantries, ensuring inventory levels are consistently met as well as keeping them clean and organized. This includes handling delivery and restocking of packaged snacks, condiments, beverages, paper products, and other essential items

• Manage and replenish linen inventory and supplies in designated storage areas

• Prepare and transport required equipment for event setups, such as but not limited to rolling tables, mini fridges, coolers, rolling walls, and tableware, as necessary

• Breakdown and clean up function areas as scheduled, adhering to departmental procedures. Return reusable goods and equipment to specified storage locations

• Pick up and deliver products from the warehouse or direct orders, following proper protocols for freight elevator use and delivery routes

• Adhere to departmental standards, policies, and regulations, with a focus on observing all safety protocols

• Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Is 18+ years of age

• Preferably has similar or related experience in a high-volume setting.
