The Star of Honolulu Cruises and Events, one of Hawaii’s top 250 companies has been operating as a premier tour company for more than 60 years. We are looking for a professional to join our Bar Management Team! Aloha spirit and a positive attitude are essential. Management is tasked with a variety of responsibilities that help keep our operation running at the highest possible level. Management is involved with hiring, organizing, and scheduling shifts for their crew. They also create and run training programs for their crew, like safety and incident prevention topics that keep both their crew and guests safe and happy. Management of the Bar department also manage ordering, receiving, inventory, cost controls and periodic review, equipment maintenance, and quality control of the drinks we serve to our guests.

Only current residents will be considered.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of work experience in bar
• At least one year in supervisory position
• Great listening and communication skills
• A flexible and problem-solving skill-set
• A great attitude and the ALOHA spirit
• Has a passion for delivering quality products and service
• Enjoys working with the crew to coach in the moment
• Able to lift 40lbs
• Able to walk and stand for several hours, during setup and service
• Available to work evenings, every day of the week
