Bar Server

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bar Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take beverage orders with enthusiasm, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Serve drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially in nightlife or nightclub settings.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate catering, banquet, or event service when needed.
• Manage time effectively during busy hours, balancing multiple tables and orders seamlessly.
• Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Assist with closing duties, including inventory checks, restocking supplies, and cleaning the bar area.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced service periods efficiently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local regulations.
