As a vital support to our bartenders and service staff, you’ll ensure the bar area remains clean, well-stocked, and inviting. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced nightclub or restaurant setting while delivering outstanding customer service.

Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, washing glassware, and sanitizing equipment regularly
• Restock bar supplies such as liquor bottles, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to ensure smooth service during busy hours
• Assist with food preparation tasks for bar snacks or light menu items, supporting the kitchen team as needed
• Support bartenders by bussing tables, clearing empty glasses, and ensuring the bar is organized and inviting
• Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing with accuracy and efficiency
• Help with setup and breakdown of events such as banquets or catering functions within the venue
• Uphold food handling standards and safety regulations in all tasks related to food and beverage service

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a restaurant environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience working in nightclubs, banquet settings, catering events, or hotel environments is a plus
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
• Prior experience as a barista or in serving roles can be beneficial for understanding customer needs and multitasking under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service
