Barback and Bartender

Job Summary
Eido Bar Company is seeking fun, professional, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individuals to join our team for the upcoming wedding + events season across Maine & New England. We are currently hiring:— Mixologists / Bartenders— Barbacks

We specialize in thoughtfully curated drink menus, elevated bar design, and exceptional guest experiences — so bartending skills are a must, and catering/event experience is strongly preferred.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, loves the wedding & events industry, working in some of the most beautiful venues and locations, and takes pride in precision, teamwork, and seamless execution.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Execute detailed event setup + thoughtful breakdown
• Deliver skilled, efficient bartending service
• Support bar flow + elevate the guest experience
• Work collaboratively with a positive, team-first mindset
• Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages efficiently to keep the bar running smoothly during busy hours
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring compliance with food handling and safety standards
• Support service preparation tasks such as preparing garnishes
• Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from guest areas promptly to uphold a tidy environment
• Re-rack bar rentals after use
• Responsibly handle checking IDs and responsible liquor service to the highest standard with discretion for each guest, and team member.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience
• Assist with catering and bar setups efficiently, and having an eye for the details.

Skills

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Experience in food service or restaurant environments, including hotel or nightclub settings
• Knowledge of mixology and bartending
• Ability to handle beverage service safely and follow proper handling procedures
• Previous bartending experience or barista skills that demonstrate beverage preparation expertise
• Familiarity with cleaning protocols, bussing procedures, and general kitchen or bar area maintenance
• Hospitality background with experience in catering, banquet service, or hotel operations is highly desirable
• Excellent multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or restaurants

• Reliable transportation + valid driver’s license
• Availability for 10–12 hour shifts
