Barback and Bartender

Our bar program is rooted in Caribbean flavor and creativity, with a strong focus on rum-forward cocktails, fresh juices, house-made syrups, and cultural staples like sorrel. We’re building a bar experience that feels vibrant, intentional, and true to the energy of Thingz From Yaad.

We’re looking for bartenders who are excited to be part of that vision and bring both skill and creativity to the bar.

• What You’ll Do
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
• Provide attentive, engaging service to bar guests while supporting servers with drink tickets
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service
• Follow all responsible alcohol service practices, including checking IDs
• Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions
• Complete bar prep, opening, and closing duties
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented service environment

• Drinks are made consistently, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Guests feel welcomed, engaged, and well taken care of at the bar
• Service flows smoothly, even during high-volume shifts
• Your bar is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times
• You communicate clearly and support both FOH and BOH teams

Who Thrives in This Role

• You have at least 2 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• You have strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and spirits
• You can multitask without losing attention to detail
• You are friendly, professional, and confident behind the bar
• You are a team player with strong communication skills
• You are available evenings and weekends

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
