Barback and Server Assistant

Duties

• Support bartenders and servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting stations efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting space
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks, assembling orders, and ensuring all items meet quality standards
• Handle food handling duties safely and according to health regulations, including proper storage and sanitation practices
• Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry, cash handling, and processing payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas including bar stations, dining spaces, and kitchen zones through regular cleaning and organization
• Assist with catering events or banquet setups by transporting supplies, setting tables, and ensuring event flow runs smoothly
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service efforts during busy shifts in nightclubs or hotel environments

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality roles such as barista or banquet attendant is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cashiering and order management
• Strong cleaning skills with attention to sanitation standards in food handling and work area maintenance
• Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or hotel banquet halls
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and interact positively with guests
• Experience with food preparation, catering support, or kitchen operations is a plus
• Knowledge of the food industry standards including safety protocols related to food handling and customer service excellence
