BARBACK - LODGE

SUMMARY
Responsible for basic prep work behind the bar.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for stocking bars with liquor, beer, fruit, mixes, straws, napkins, ice, cleaning products and all other products required in the day to day operation of the bar.
  • Will assist bartenders during their breaks.
  • Keep records of all inventory transfers.
  • All other duties as assigned.

REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Manager of F&B Operations then to the Director of F&B.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
  • Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, bar equipment, POS, cash register.
  • The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
  • You will need the ability to read, write and understand simple instruction.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • You will need to be available to work all shifts.
  • The ability to work in a fast –paced environment and stressful situations.
  • You must be at least 21 years old.
  • You also must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
You will need to be able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time. The ability to push, pull, kneel, twist, carry and lift up to 30 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
