Join our dynamic team as a contracted Barber, Hair Stylist, and Nail Technician—an exciting role where your creativity, technical skills, and passion for beauty come together to transform clients’ looks and boost their confidence! In this vibrant position, you’ll provide expert haircuts, styling, coloring, nail care, and grooming services in a lively environment. Your energy and customer-focused attitude will help create an inviting atmosphere where clients feel pampered and valued. This is a contracted position where you rent out a chair in our shop on a weekly basis. You are not an employee of ours and you set your own schedule and rates.

Duties

• Deliver professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and hair extension services using advanced techniques such as balayage or ombré.
• Perform grooming services including straight razor shaves, beard trims, and hair threading to meet diverse client needs.
• Provide expert nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail art with attention to sanitation standards.
• Apply makeup and eyelash extensions to enhance clients’ natural beauty for special occasions or everyday wear.
• Offer personalized consultations on hair color theory, product recommendations, and retail upselling opportunities to maximize client satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in compliance with health regulations while ensuring all tools are properly sterilized.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, nail care, or customer service best practices to foster a collaborative environment.

Experience

• Must be properly licensed.
• Proven experience as a barber, hairstylist, or nail technician with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse skills in hair styling and grooming.
• Familiarity with advanced techniques including hair extensions application, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and retail sales strategies.
• Strong understanding of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff alike.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively to client preferences and provide tailored recommendations.
• Experience working in a fast-paced salon setting with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining high-quality service standards.
