Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages efficiently and accurately using espresso machines and other equipment.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction management with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by handling food properly, preparing light food items, and ensuring the café remains inviting and hygienic.
• Manage cash registers accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions.
• Support food preparation tasks like assembling sandwiches or snacks while adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly to keep service flowing smoothly.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is preferred; a passion for coffee culture is a plus!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to handle sales efficiently.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy.
