Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and other drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests professionally, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café workspace, including food handling and food safety standards.
• Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while maintaining accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Support sales efforts by upselling products and promoting new menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to uphold food industry standards and ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage presentation.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality or service speed.
• Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques.
• Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is highly desirable.
