Position: Barista / Ice Cream Scooper
Reports to: Bar Supervisor and Restaurant Manager
Barista – Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve hot and cold coffee beverages following company recipes and quality standards
- Scoop and serve ice cream accurately with proper portion control and presentation
- Explain ice cream flavors, ingredients, and coffee options to customers
- Customize orders based on customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, ice cream station, counters, and equipment
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, freezers, and POS systems efficiently
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
- Restock cups, cones, toppings, syrups, milk, coffee beans, and other supplies
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning machines and work areas
- Upsell add-ons, premium flavors, and specialty drinks in a friendly manner
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic complaints professionally
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
