Barista

Position: Barista / Ice Cream Scooper

Reports to: Bar Supervisor and Restaurant Manager

Barista – Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold coffee beverages following company recipes and quality standards
• Scoop and serve ice cream accurately with proper portion control and presentation
• Explain ice cream flavors, ingredients, and coffee options to customers
• Customize orders based on customer preferences
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, ice cream station, counters, and equipment
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, freezers, and POS systems efficiently
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
• Restock cups, cones, toppings, syrups, milk, coffee beans, and other supplies
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning machines and work areas
• Upsell add-ons, premium flavors, and specialty drinks in a friendly manner
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic complaints professionally
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service during busy periods
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
