Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages
• Operate POS system (Square) for accurate order processing
• Engage with customers warmly, providing exceptional service and product recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and café spaces
• Assist in food preparation, serving food items, and managing food handling procedures according to safety guidelines
• Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards

Experience

• Previous barista experience in a fast-paced café or food service environment is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization options
• Familiarity with Square POS system is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
• Experience in food safety practices, food handling, and food preparation procedures
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume hours

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
