Barista

We are seeking someone who has a passion for all things coffee! We pride ourselves on authenticity and proper technique. Candidate must be 18 or older and able to work in a fast paced/customer facing environment.

We are open daily; candidates must have weekday & weekend availability. Shifts are 8am-4pm.

Required tasks include but are not limited to:

· Learning the proper techniques on all coffee/espresso/tea drinks; including pour overs and drinks requiring latte art.

· A focus on customer experience; must be friendly, personable and dedicated to providing each patron the best experience possible.

· Should be able to communicate menu effectively to customers and provide suggestions as needed.

· Must be able to learn and operate a Square POS system, take customers orders in a friendly manner while organizing/expediting the handling of each order to fulfillment.

· Clean up: Must adhere and follow our cleaning protocols which include sanitizing workspace, cleaning dishes, cleaning tables, mopping, organizing kitchen, etc.

· Must be able to multitask and take direction in a fast-paced environment.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: Starting hourly wage is $10.70/hour. Tips range between $10-16/hour.

We are looking for a hard-working, positive attitude person who fits the overall culture of our café. Prior barista experience is preferred but not required.
