Barista

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting café environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Assist with food preparation and handling in accordance with food safety guidelines.
• Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and other products; communicate needs to management.
• Uphold food safety standards during all food preparation and service activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively to customers.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations within the food industry.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
