Barista

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies efficiently and as directed.
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in a friendly manner, answering questions, making recommendations, and making light conversation.
- Prepare food items, such as sandwiches and pastries, according to established recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers

- A neat and clean appearence is required at all times.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is required.
- Strong knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic math skills for calculating change and handling retail transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
